This is a great spot to go if you want to see a lot of wildlife over a short walk. There are tons of birds including herons and egrets as well as gators throughout numerous areas of this park. There is a wonderful overlook of the area that shows just how vast this wilderness expands. There is an amazing collection of mangroves that are wonderfully lit at sunset during golden hour. I highly recommend this location for any wildlife lovers.

Enjoyed the walk. Walked to the end and back. Unfortunately it is very dry and little water so not a lot of different birds. The lookout is nice with a great view. No alligator sightings. A beautiful day. We weren't there at sunset when the birds come to roost but heard it is spectacular.

2.3 miles in total, But really the easy. The first part is paved leading to a observation tower and that is only about .5 mile into the park. There is either 2 or 3 stops past that with benches. Really a nice park, I think the best time to go is during migration.
