Can a person park at economy lot and ride the train/tram into the main terminal, even if they’re not flying out, but just to check out airport/shops? Didn’t think an airline ticket was required, but wanted to verify.

Yes, you can not go airside.

Currently, only ticketed passengers are officially allowed in the terminal.
