Mission San Juan Capistrano, Landmark, Chapel, Museum and Gardens - All questions

Address: 26801 Ortega Hwy, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675, USA

It is located in the small town of San Juan Capistrano off of Ortega Highway. The docents have done their best to maintain the ruins but there is so much surrounding it that it makes it hard to truly enjoy it. It is awe inspiring. As to the why may never be truly known but it is the location that St. Serra chose to settle in to create a home for the monks and people in the area at the time.
