Sorry, I absolutely LOVE them! If I have a few items, I go to the checkouts without belts. If I have a cart full, I load the belt. It's faster for me and my family. I hate waiting in line, not a big fan. I also like my items bagged a certain way, especially now that I bring my own cloth bags. YES, I'm the odd ball and proud of it! The only thing I hate about it- I'm afraid it took some positions away😔
Hate them too. Walmart trying to save money. If 2 0r 3 store employees can just stand in the self serve area. Why can't we have cashiers so we can actually get check out service
I hate them. If I wanted to work at that type of job, I would get paid for it. Also, they very seldom have registers open on dept store side. They lost my business the other day because I had parked down near garden and when I went to check out the garden register had about 10 people or more in it and the dept store had no registers open. Because I was only buying 2 toys for my grandson that he really didn't need, I placed them at the end of a closed register on dept. store side and left. I have gotten to the point that I would rather pay the higher prices than go in this store.
Self checkout is great for a certain amount if items. After that the scale goes wacky. Usjng the do not bag button helps
Ok for few items but not good when I have a weeks worth of groceries. Whose job am I doing? Who will be out of a job or not work enough hours to pay their bills....also how many are not paying for everything and stealing?
I nevvvvver thought about it like that. I must admit that I actually juuuus saw it last night and thought, "wow! They have 3 rows of self checkout lanes!" ( We only have 1 row with 5 opposing checkout stations equalling 10) If Wal-Mart is your ONLY shopping destination for BOTH grocery & non-grocery items then, yes, the Cocoa public would be quite irritated being behind you. My advice : just become an expert @ the self checkout. Like I had to do. 😉
I agree
