Per Forest Order #08-05-05/02-13-2070 Pets are not permitted in day use areas: picnic area, swim area, beaches, and trails that originate in the recreation area. They are allowed in the campground on a leash no longer than 6 feet.

Not a question just wanted to let everyone know that juniper springs is closed as of 8/28/2018. I'm not sure how long it's been or will be closed but the forest ranger said they have been having "water issues". I recommend calling ahead of time.
