It's up to the airline regarding granting you a gate pass to assist someone to/from the gate. Understand that you will have to proceed thru security as well, so come early. TSA does not grant gate passes. You will also be required to present ID.
Yes you can but you need to call your airline first and let them know that that's what you're going to do. Unfortunately you'll probably be on hold for a long time but it will make the experience a little smoother
Yes u will have to go through security just like you are getting on but u can let them know what your doing
