Probably the best and safest place for parking on a busy evening is not downtown but in your driveway at home or the hotel and call an Uber or Lyft!
I, personally don't drive, but without giving you any specific details, there is a plethora of options, in, out and garage. Downtown Saint Petersburg IS GREAT! And Demens Landing is WONDERFUL. I very much ENJOY my walk through downtown, MY hike is a brisk 20 minute stroll 😃😃😃🖖
The parking garage for the sun dial is your best bet. There is free parking along 1st south and it is 2 hour until 9, so you are usually safe unless it is an afternoon concert.
There's a parking garage across the street with $5 event parking valid until 5am.
Sundial, first hour free then one dollar an hour after. Paid 8 bucks from 3 pm to midnight.
Don't park, take Uber or Lyft. It's 2022.
There are 2 big parking buildings across the street. And also reasonably priced.
