Is the camp ground open to the public?

Camping is public in the sense anyone can camp paying the nightly fee. The Rangers office has a board displaying official prices. Its $30-35 a night anf an extra charge per vehicle. The park itself is available go the public without a fee

Is veterans camping site a nice place to spend a few nights with my navy son? I want to go this memorial day weekend.
