Do you ever get yorkies? I would like one but not pay thousands of dollars,

I am not representing any animal shelter. When my family goes to the SPCA or the local animal shelter, there ARE purebreds there. I have seen Yorkies, Pit Bulls, GSD, all types of dogs in the hound group. You just need to keep looking at the site.
