They have both type of heating a wall unit and they have a nice stove style firewood you choose which type you like
It varies by room. A couple of the rooms have a real fireplace and others it has a fireplace but that is the heating element as well. The room I had at silver pines village had a fireplace which is the heating unit and it heated up the room nicely.
