This is a lousy deal -- what about people who merely want to eat their bag lunch here? Or just walk around for a few minutes??? Will there be any better park maintenance???

Vehicles with watercraft trailers park right at the boat launch free. Any vehicle not using launch is supposed to park in the upper lot. I don't know if it's free or not. It was 16 yrs ago (the one time I had to park there), but I couldn't tell ya now-a-days.
I've never paid to park there, unless it's for another entrance. I believe you just have to pay if there's an event going on there.
