I just relocated from Colorado I waited till my place expired and I went to the DMV you got to have your registration and or title and has to be in your name only and to get get it transferred over right away but you can't do it online you have to go in
I'm not sure. You should go to the DMV website. I think you have 60 days to register it, but not sure.
