Thanks to the City of Chico's terrible/ heartless management of the current homeless population and sluggishness to enact any kind of policy to help Unhoused individuals or protect this area its is not a hot mess of trash abandoned tents and a ruined ecosystem. I regularly walked and exercised on this path but no longer. Thanks Chico City council !

More like homeless ponds, I was pretty freaked out by the number of large dwellings running generators around the place. There's an entire community in there. I mean I doubt anyone is going to hurt you but I brought my camera with me and I know it made me a likely target.
