So how come they cancel veterans appointments all the time, and then never get back to them about rescheduling another one? Also why do they get canceled in the first place I have never heard of a civilian doctor canceling appointments..?

Doctors call out sick sometimes. That might be why your appt was cancelled. If it happens to u more than once I would request a new provider

Always keep a paper trail. You need to use secure messaging in the my health vet website to communicate these issues with your doctor. If it's the same doctor canceling again and again you should request another doctor. They have never canceled mine. Where are you getting your info from to say, "they cancel veterans appointments all the time". Be careful of blanket statements because that makes you look ignorant.
