You need to have the title, photo ID and the vehicle with you. If it's on a clean Kansas title or a Manufacturer Certificate of Origin you don't need an inspection, regardless which state you bought it in.

Check their website as it covers all scenarios. I would call as well since they may be closed this week many goverment services have shut down this week. They normally say to call ahead anyway. Title or statement of origin, bill of sale, vehicle and state ID are normal requirements.
