Wonderful service.

It was cool, it didn't take long for them to inspect my car I just didn't like the hour wait sitting in my car waiting for them to do the inspection. They don't have inside seating available.

No. You just go there. Have title ready. Go to small tent thing they have set up outside to check in.
Dmv and Highway patrol inspection station are open Monday thru Friday.
Yes you will need a license, they asked me for mine when I went.
No! Just drive in. It’s like a drive thru and wait for your turn. They’re one of the best people to help you out!
Be there early
You can send anyone with a valid driver's license.
Just walk in first come first serve, I had one ahead of me it took 5 minutes in and out
No
No..they are closed today
Mrs. Martin good afternoon I hope that everyone in your family has had good health and will continue to have good health during this medical crisis. Mrs.. Martin I suggest that you call before you go, or if you want to go try it just take all of your identification papers .Mrs.Martin you and your family have a good evening.
Yes you can , they will need your out of state title, There DL and of course the vehicle.
In person for now.
You need to have the title, photo ID and the vehicle with you. If it's on a clean Kansas title or a Manufacturer Certificate of Origin you don't need an inspection, regardless which state you bought it in.
VIN # and the mileage, if it's salvaged or not....making sure all the paperwork matches
I recommend the office on I-70 near 78th st in kck. Much Much faster
Best to start by looking on Kansas Department of Transportation website
No. I would get there 15 minutes before they open to get in and out.
Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 3:15, according to their website, and Google maps.
20 dollars for non-salvage vehicles. They accept cash, check, or visa credit cards
$20. The inspection is essentially the state checking VINs.
