Thank you for your question regarding a charge for consultation. If you have health insurance, your normal co-pay and deductible will apply. If you do not have health insurance (like 60% of our patients), we use a sliding scale based on income and household size to determine your cost per visit. Those fees are found at kccare.org in the Paying for Your Care page in the Patients section of the website (https://kccare.org/patients/paying-for-your-care/). KC CARE gladly accepts Medicaid, Medicare and privately insured patients without compromising our commitment to those who are uninsured. Patients are never turned away regardless of their ability to pay. KC CARE offers the services of trained, on-site Financial Counselors who can help you navigate the lowest costs possible and create an affordable payment plan.
