Maybe oceans of fun will close but it has to rain pretty hard and lightning constantly for worlds of fun to close
They shut down when lightening is within a certain range but we've been there with it raining and both parks stayed open.

They close for severe weather/lightning. Sometimes they will take a time out until the weather passes, then you can go back into the water
The parks do not close for rain but they do close for thunder and lightning, I rode the Patriot during a rainstorm and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life
