Thank you for your Question, legitimate service animals that have been trained to perform a specific task are always welcomed, The law states, UNLIKE SERVICE ANIMAL, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS DO NOT HAVE THE SAME LEVEL OF PRIVILEGES WHEN IT COMES TO PUBLIC ACCESS.(esadoctors.com) We have dozens of patients that have phobias and allergies to animals and we need to take everyone's comfort in mind. You have papers for your pet but stated it was for "emotional support" and it is not trained to perform a task nor was it wearing a proper service animal restraint. So its easy to get a PET mixed up with a "service" animal. For people with anxieties, We do offer a pickup option, where you can call ahead and have the medication waiting for you, we will gladly prepare your order and have it waiting for you at the front desk. if you have any further questions feel free to ask. Thank you IVTHC
It seems that classes for those with Service Animals or Emotional Support Animals could be accommodated together. If others have a phobia that affects Mental Health and Welfare of others, than those with alegies and phobias could have classes together. If the issue is chairs that folks sit in they can be covered while folks that have allergies attend. Emotional Support Animals are same as Service Animals for many Veterans and others. Without them it's not worth going to events or classes that won't accommodate them. TM for Veterans has helped me, although I am having issues with the process that brings memories out, it does help immensely. Having Service and Emotional Support Animals is a RIGHT, not a Priveledge.
Because you're abusing the system. There's no legal way to request documentation that you service animal is indeed licensed. Technically a service animal carrys license, esa hold certificate. Maybe I should start taking my cat everywhere with me. If I was that bad off, I'd opt for hospitalization. Don't get mad at others for your own ignorance. Most esa dogs don't meet my personal standard for behavior of a pet. I look forward to the day someone has a panic attack after I boot their predatory mammal who bared their teeth at me. If it's that important to you, Guide Dogs of the Desert has multiple resources in potentially LICENCING your dog....or shetland pony 🐴. Just don't be mad when your annual weed budget is about a 3rd of the licensing costs.
