Yes there is hunting, but you're perfectly safe to go trail riding!

Hunting season has started and you will be sharing the trails with hunters. Orange is not required with all types of hunting so they won't visible. Its best to wear flo orange or as bright of a color as you can.

There is hunting. I go trail running there often. Stay on the trails and wear bright colors. You'll be fine.

I believe the hunting is at the state game lands next to the park. It's a great place for a trail ride.
