Which grass grows best in seaside ca

We have used the grass sod HD sells every spring to great success. We had problems setting seed. Recently we changed the lawn to artificial turf and we are very happy with it

Thanks for your responses. I probably should have worded my question differently because 'crab grass' is actually an appropriate response!Seriously though...I bought a mixed seed advertised as requiring reduced watering and growing well in sun and shade.
