My son had insurance thru FL Healthy Kids.I missed the renewal period and didn't send the paperwork in time so his insurance was canceled. Now I need to take him to the doctor...Do I need to pay for the consultation? Will the insurance reimburse me?

You need to have active insurance for a policy to cover a medical expense. Unfortunately this doctor visit will NOT be covered.
