My name is Nate Jackson and I’m a 32 year retired police detective that have had the opportunity to work in Detroit and Fort Lauderdale in that capacity. Unfortunately, I encountered a very serious illness that was extremely devastating. Mentally, it was very taxing to my wife. We were fortunate enough to make contact with Broward Health North. One of the very first individuals that we communicated with and contacted was Mrs Edna Stickel. She was extremely pleasant and listen patiently to the issues that existed. She provided information and directions on how the issues and problems that we have could possibly be resolved. My wife and I both had the opportunity to personally meet Edna and discovered that she was a genuinely nice individual. It truly appeared that she loved assisting individuals along with guiding them to the personnel that could offer them the mental or physical requirements. One of the most beautiful things that elevated staff members, patients and all other individual was her beautiful dog (Mona). This had to be one of the highlights for all individuals. Edna also directed my wife to Stephanie Barner. Miss Barner is the Senior Speech Pathologist. With in one day, Edna had arranged for me have an appointment with Miss Barner. I met with Miss Barner and she was able to diagnose my condition and immediately being to provide the mental, physical and with what was most important, the speech and re-learning the language and usage of various parts of speech. I was successful in meeting with Miss Barner twice a week. We were able to go through various assignments and by the 3 visit, I could see that my mental capacity had elevated. Miss Barner is an excellent teacher and I would definitely & highly recommend her at anyone who had suffer any form of speech or mental capacity. One of the most important vehicles or obstacles that was touching is the fact that she doesn’t care if you are White, Black, senior citizen or have limited capacities. She will offer you the best service that is available. My visitation was approximately 3 plus months. My wife was present at the hospital on each and every visit, which was very important with what I had suffered. My wife and I can both testify that Miss Barner has been a fantastic individual with the skills that she presented to me. There were tools that were presented that I had to work on during my absence from a visit. She also required me to reads books and work on other tools. I want to thank Miss Barner, her supervisor and the CEO of Broward Health North for employing such a wonderful individual. Lastly, I would definitely recommend other patients to North Broward Health. Employees probably don't check this because they wouldn't care about questions or reviews. Most gloves are latex but they should have latex free gloves there. Just ask to have latex free things.

GREAT hospices unit EXELLENT CARE compassion in my difficult time God bless this PLACE NURSES Dr's secretary's and all staff's everybody's was so NICE Mike the managers have a big and EXELLENT personalities for handily professional and so much compassionate I have so much respect for Mike BEING working in health care for a long time I can see the difference

You should contact your physician who is taking care of this issue for you because the results will go directly to him or her. The hospital will not send you the results directly. I hope this helps
