It rarely gets exceptionally hot in Lompoc. There's good shade, not an abundance, but every day around 1pm, WITHOUT FAIL, the breeze comes in from the coast and keeps it nice and cool. I'd even pack a sweater.
There is shade, and there are electrical hook ups to help you help yourself with heat or cold.
Many, most maybe, of the RV sites have some degree of shade. A few are really nicely shaded.
Most of the camps offer some shade and it doesnt get exceptionally hot in Lompoc.
