Not a good idea to bring a young child. The audio is very loud and a child's hearing could be damaged. Also others in the audience would be upset by crying baby. Too bad we don't have drive in movies anymore. They were great for families.
I checked and yes you would need to get a child's ticket for ages 1-12, under 1 year of age they require an adult ticket be purchased for the infant.
They will probably want to sell a ticket for a child.
I haven't seen any posted policy on that, so it may just be at the discretion of the manager.
