Contact the center during the day or go there and speak to them, they will be glad to explain. If you volunteer you will have to go to an orientation class, then four short classes to work with the horses which are safety and cleanliness classes. Nice group of people. They are there 7 days a week and always need help with something.
The volunteer people aren't involved in going out and recovering a horse , that is for the professional and skilled folks. They have a program for children and adults to learn to help with the horses that are stabled at the center ..I think the age is not as important as the talent and understanding of the child.
Age of who for what?
