All dogs must be on a leash for their own and everyone else's safety.
There is a sign you can read the tells you the rules on the street at the beach just read the rules and Obey them thank you you can walk your dog on the trail off leash that's behind the parking lot
Unofficially yes... However if your dog gets into a fight and someone gets hurt, then you up the creek.

Not sure it's legal, but most dogs are off leash on this beach...
It's an unofficial dog park, you can get fined but most people let you know if the ranger is there. I just moved away from there but we walked out dogs, leash-free, for 6 years. Never had a ticket, never had a dog fight but we were very respectful and kept our dogs close at hand.
