Hello...I purchased a vehicle recently and the previous owner wants to keep its vanity plates ...upon registering the vehicle would I (as a member) be able to obtain new plates at your location?

You cannot get plates there.
You can do a title transfer. I'm sure they'll be able to order new plates.
