Proof of address, proof of insurance, social security card, maybe birth certificate... Not sure, but hopefully I have been of help.
Yes l just had my old drivers license. But they may ask you for your social security card also .
It really depends on your age however if you want a real ID, the best thing to do is visit ncrealid.gov
