It seems there are multiple places to launch a boat. However, what are launching areas that are "kayak friendly." Not too interested in being on the main big water, but the smaller swamp like areas with spanish moss and cypress trees.

Can get to either from both...i like the creeks to left of store ramp myself for fishin..poplar creek ...or go down to creek on right at 95 bridge

Santee state park.....palmetto shores Johnny's fish camp.... carolina king and marina are the best one. For kyac rentals is santee state park or collenton state park the very best for kyacing

When the wife and I were there, there was so little boat traffic we launched our kayaks from the boat ramps. We back the truck up and drop the kayaks off right at the water's edge, did not have to carry them, park the truck off we went do enjoy your day on the lake. And we had no problem coming back into the same spot.
