This allows you to trade in your old books for trade credit which gives you the biggest discount on all your purchases. Encyclopedias are no longer in much demand. I usually suggest to people who ask about donating them to check with prisons and nursing homes to see if they can use them. People in these institutions usually don't have ready access to computers.
