Would you ever be interested in being the location for a plant swap among houseplant enthusiasts? I have read that, in some cities, clubs or groups do them. I'd love to organize one for the spring.

You might want to inquire at your County Extension Office about their Master Gardeners program. They give excellent, comprehensive training, and you volunteer so many hours per week/month. The local Guilford County Extension Master Gardeners have an annual "pass-along plant sale", which encourages Master Gardeners to propagate their favorite plants for potting and selling to raise money for the program.

I'll get in touch with someone there...I have cool plants that I'd love to propagate and pass along and I suspect there are lots of others who would also enjoy it.
