Not too hard. I snuck into the vip boxes for Primus a couple weeks ago. Also you can just walk past those ticket checkers. For the most part they try to help people find a seat so walk with confidence like you know where you're going and if they catch you act stupid. As for weed, hide it in your shoe. Its not a shoes off kinda search. I also was able to bring a vape pen/cartridge in plain sight.

They look in bags. The seats are all good I think. It's small.

You are searched. Usually after the opening act is done they will scan your ticket again so you may go outside the venue to smoke. Any seat in the place is good in my opinion. They check tickets the closer to the stage you get, might be difficult to upgrade yourself.
