There is much to do there. Many hands on activities. If your child wants to travel with a favorite toy, I'm sure they would allow it. Just check in with the staff when you get there.
They have a small gift shop but they don't sell toys. There is a really nice toy store that sort of shares the parking lot, Amato's.

There is no reason to bring toys since there is so much to see and do there. There is a little shop to buy bools at.
