We absolutely live Kidcity. It is our favorite children's museum to visit in Connecticut. There is so much to do and it is so easy to monitor the kids. They so an amazing job keeping everything tidy too.

My granddaughter loved this place and because I am a Connecticut resident, there was no charge. Need to schedule visit in advance for limited amount allowed for covid safety guidelines

What an AMAZING place! A bit of sensory over load but definitely balanced out with all the hidden quiet relax rooms. Every inch of this building is thoughtfully crafted! I couldn't say enough wonderful things to do my expirence justice.

All I can say is my son loved it! Online registration is a must. Plenty of parking though in the lot (metered).

I'd say Ideally kids under 7. It's all imaginative play.
The place is exactly where your 7 year old would fit right in!
Library pass you can get in for free, you just have to pay for parking which is $1 per hour
There is much to do there. Many hands on activities. If your child wants to travel with a favorite toy, I'm sure they would allow it. Just check in with the staff when you get there.
$10 per person. Parking in the lot is free on Sunday, but metered any other day.
I think it's 10am, but you need to make an appointment on their website. Appointments are posted at 3pm the day before. You can't just walk in.
No, they aren't open Sundays currently
Good morning Darcy! While we don’t have any food for sale here at Kidcity, we are next to Middletown’s Main Street and admission covers you all day, so you can pop out for lunch and come back. You can head to www.downtownMiddletown.com for a list of restaurants or businesses. We also have a small snack room off our coat room behind the front desk so you can pack and lunch and enjoy it in there. We do have lots of visitors who have allergies, so we do all that all food and drink happen only in our snack or coat room instead of the exhibits. I hope that helps!
They no longer do birthday parties w a room but they do discounted group visits 😩😩
ADULTS & CHILDREN: $10 PER PERSON Only 1yr olds are free
There is a public parking lot behind Kidcity. Parking is $1/hour and the meters charge from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday to Saturday. The meters take coins, credit cards and payment from the ParkMobile App (we're registered as Lot# 8204). I use the app to pay as I see how the kids are doing so I don't overpay for parking.
Not quite sure what you mean, but I know they do honor the library passes.
$10/pp
