In order to renew expired driving License, can I just walk in person. Or do I have to make an appointment ? I have a Massachusetts driving License. It's expired 4 month before. What is the fee? Can I do my Application through and renew my License.

I just renewed my driver's license that expired in June. Application must be filled out online and it's a few pages long . Citizenship required or USA birth certificate or anything equivalent to being a legal resident of the US. Then prove that you're a resident of the state of Massachusetts and bring with you few mailing envelopes or car registration in your name and home address in MASS. You must take a photo of citizenship or naturalization papers or USA birth certificate and download it on the RMV website prior to going to the appointment that they have available for you for a good 3 weeks from the minute you go on their website. Then take the application with you and the original documents of proving you're a citizen. They will scan it their and give it back to you whichever you're bringing with you . You will have your name and appointment time at the entrance of the new location of the RMV building on state street. The person checks your name and appointment time. Fees are $50
