I'm an AAA member and wd like to renew registration as your office. I'll be away for some time starting April 30, so I want to know if I can have the new registration when I leave your office if I bring necessary paperwork, ID, license and check?

I recently renewed my registration at AAA. The registry mailed the new registration form to me, which I presented to the AAA Representative, along with my license, old registration, AAA card and payment. I did not need insurance stamp which was indicated on the registration form. After presenting all forms, payment and ID, I received the new registration.

I would say to call AAA first. They provide many services at that location, but am not sure if you get the registration certificate that day or still have to wait for DMV to mail it.
