The park has hiking trails and historical items. It has all of the information regarding the battle and a movie which is very informative. They also have a shop and artifacts from the battle on display.

When you begin at the info building start with the back room with the map room. As the narrative begins it shows the battleground with interactive lights in various colors as the platoons progress through the area. The self guided tour is a ten mile course by car (or foot). Download the app for info and you play it at each station. Each station shows the battles that took place there. It's really a wonderful history of the area & battles that took place in & around Saratoga. There are hiking & biking trails throughout the entire area.

There is a tour road that you can drive or bike through, stopping at historical spots with information signs and cannons, etc. There are many miles of hiking and horseback trails. There is also a museum/gift shop related to the battle, and an old house from the 1700s that has been kept up to look original. In good weather there is an interpreter there to tell you about it

There are also many people who like to bike "bicycle"and ride horse around there. Just to be clear though, there are trails for this nothing is provided.

Great place to learn about the battle of saratoga, the turning point of the american revolution. Great visitors center orients you to the park and the battles that took place there. You can hike miles of groomed trails or drive the 10 mile access road. One of the great historical parks in the country.

You can learn about the "Turning Point" of the American Revolutionary War and that the battle in Saratoga was the first time the British were ever defeated in a war.
