I have recently booked a room for mid May. The reviews are now starting to worry me. Will the room be clean? Will I have black feet from the dirt? Will any pools be open? Will I get the room I reserved, with towels and washcloths?

The hotel is good. The most important thing is that you are next to a gorgeous beach. Enjoy the sea breeze, the sun and the outside pools.

The reviews had me scared too, but check in was fine, got the room I wanted. The room was dirty, but it was from dust because of the construction outside. It turned out okay, because the part of the room with the bed was the least dusty because where it was. Overall it was fine.

I held a convention there. Everything was great I heard no one complain. Staff was great. Rooms were clean plenty of towels. Nice beach

I'm here currently. Rooms are...just alright. Bare minimum cleaning is done each day. There was a line at the front desk today of people complaining about the cleaning. It's just my husband and I....so it's fine for us. The food is NOT good. Beach is beautiful. TV reception is so bad that it freezes after a couple minutes of having it on. We gave up on it. We won't ever stay here again, but we still are having an enjoyable time. If you're able to book elsewhere and get your money back do it. If not, you'll still have a great time.

Just was there two weeks ago. Construction on north pool .... accommodations were fine. Towels and washcloths were supplied every day...I always enjoy the Sirata...

I have never had a problem with unclean rooms. Staff has always been really nice. I saw two pools of three under renovation on April 1st. Don't know when it will be completed. However, you are only steps away from a beautiful beach. And, no, you don't get black dirt on your feet from the beach. This is one of my favorite hotels on my favorite beach. Have fun, no worries, mate!
