Seems if you are not a member you are not welcome. They question if you are an episcopal even though you have spent your all your life as a member and your spouse a regular preacher in the Anglican church

Sorry if you had that encounter but I have never had anyone in there faith ask me such questions cause it irrelevant. As long as you believe they'll accept you regardless of any nomination past or present.
