I had a living room chair, that I purchased about a year ago collapse while I was sitting in it. The shaft tore out of the base causing me to go over backward to the floor. i need to know how I get the chair replaced or fixed. Thank you

Chances are you didn't get a warranty, so I would contact Macy's to see if they will repair or replace. Never bought that kind of item, so I'm just guessing ...
