My cat was not eating or drinking water for a few day's along with her nasal congestion. We brought her to Holyoke Animal Hospital and got some helpful information and great care from them. After a few visits our cat started breathing better and started to eat. She was eating, drinking water, had more energy, and started to slowly gain some weight. They gave us hope just when we felt we might lose our cat and might have to put her down. The friendly, professional, and caring staff at Holyoke Animal Hospital helped save our 15 year old cat. I would recommend Holyoke Animal Hospital to every loving pet owner who seeks nothing but the best care for their loved ones.

I was very grateful to get a relatively fast appointment for my dog (he had a small tear in his ear that got infected.) Very happy with the services. This hospital (like most in the area) are overwhelmed with patients (this is due to lack of providers, not from "overbooking." This Vet and techs are trying to help every pet they can; this includes regular wellness/vax visits, and more acute visits like mine.) They are not an emergency clinic, so please plan accordingly. There's no 'urgent care' for animals, which makes it hard for all involved. The vet is very knowledgeable, and communicates the needs of the pet and any medications/treatments quickly and efficiently. I can see how that would seem rude to some, but since she's serving as many people/pets as possible, I think she's just trying to be efficient; no time for chit chat. A vet does have a doctorate, so they need to pay their student loans and overhead. It costs anywhere from 200k to 500k for a vet to go to school, so I pay cash upon services rendered and you should expect to do the same. While I know everyone feels their furbaby should be treated as such, all services come at a cost. If you need emergency services, go to VASH in south deerfield, or if you think euthanasia is warranted due to severe illness or trauma, go to TJ OConnor in Springfield.

They don't offer emergency services here, however their after hours recording gives the following emergency vet numbers: V.E.S.H. (MA) 413-665-4911 N.E. Vet (CT) 860-688-8400
Unfortunately they don't have payment plans. The place provides excellent care. When my cat was really sick they even called me to check on him and offered advice on what to do as I didn't have the money to keep bringing my cat back. Also the Dr. is great and they don't suggest tests just to get money.
I have no idea. Give them a call.
Their price is very reasonable than most clinic I've been bringing my pet her for yrs.
