You can get a pass that will allow you to walk around and look, but not purchase anything.
I'm not sure you could do that. You may be able to use a Costco gift card that someone could get for you. You could also ask at the door to look around. But you couldn't buy without a membership. But feel free to call customer service and ask them any questions you may have.
