Mazda as a manufacturer produces phenomenal vehicles but if you try to execute a lease buyout be prepared to pay almost 4k above the buyout option in the lease. I was quoted $26,412 to buyout a leased vehicle that in the Mazda payoff quote and contract, stipulates it will cost $22,725.68. Even with a 6% sales tax the cost should be around $24,089. Unfortunately Florida forces me to go through a dealership to execute the buyout otherwise I would avoid the middle man altogether. When I expressed concern and told them I will be getting a second opinion suddenly the quote was flexible and the "cost of business" could be reduced. Already filed a complaint with the Florida AG's office to get this resolved. I also got a second opinion at a Mazda Dealership in Brandon and they quoted me at $700 less or $25,400. Something is not adding up and I cant comprehend why this is even allowed in this state. Update: After filing a complaint with the BBB, they simply replied stating the inspection is required and that people may not like the fees but that’s how it is. Don’t ever shop with this fraudulent dealership. They clearly think they don’t have to follow federal laws in accordance with the Consumer Leasing Act. I will be pursuing this through civil litigation now. Update: Lakeland Mazda did my lease buyout with no outrageous doc fees, inspections, and garbage add ons marking it up 4-5 k above residual. Literally got it out the door for 24,568 lol. Go to Lakeland Mazda because Wesley Chapel are a bunch of snake oil salesman.

I thought the staff was excellent. Q, our sales person was amazing! Knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Jarrod the sales manager was very cool and explained everything well. Finally Brad the finance manager was super organized and closing the deal was a breeze!
