As a rule, treat all bodies of water as if they have gators, snakes are likely also.
Just like Mike said, I've never seen anything or heard anything about gators or snakes. But always treat the water as if did, we are in Florida after all.
This is Florida, so it is entirely possible there are gators and/or snakes in or around the lake. However, in all the time we've spent there I have never seen any, nor have I talked to anyone who has. I think the environment is pretty safe for our dogs.
