When you get to wekiva island where do you go to purchase the launch fee to launch your own kayak?

I believe at the bar. They have sing next to it on the way to the bathrooms with prices.

I believe entry is only 2$

It's at the window next to the barn it's $10 per vessel to launch your own.

So I am not sure about the weekdays but on the weekends after you park your vehicle at general parking, you follow the walk and you will find two beautiful ladies sitting on the right side ( volleyball court on your left) and they will give you all the info, I know if you use their kayaks or canoes then it's 45 to 50 a day
