Why does it take so long to get my title for my trailer? I should have it in my hand when I pay for it.

That sounds like a question you should have asked before you left the office. That's not really a question suitable for a Google answer. I'm sure if you call right trailers during business hours you will get your answer much quicker.

The easy answer is new trailers do not have titles. They have an MSO. When a trailer is sold and the title work is done. A new title is issued. That has to be done by the state. Right trailers and every other new retailer that sells vehicles with a title works the same way. You cannot walk into Chevrolet and purchase a brand new truck in cash and walk out with a title. If you could you wouldn't be the first owner as the title would have to have been issued with a name on it. FYI It took less than 2 weeks for me to get my title.
