50/50... if you find the pet you want, then go for it... we got a dog from Wright Way little over a year ago and here's my 3 cents... 1- Don't trust their classification of dogs on their website (hounds, shepherds, etc...). Our dog was supposed to be a hound, but now after a year, it's VERY clear he's a shepherd... totally opposite breeds, not even close. 2- Wright Way claims ALL their dogs are given de-worming medication and are evaluated by their vet. This is NOT true. Within 1 week, our dog had worms. Remember, worms take 2-3 weeks to mature inside a dog's gut, so clearly Wright Way lied to us. Rocky also had a large swelling under his eye when we took him home. 3- Wright Way charged $415 for Rocky... thinking back, I think that's pretty steep for a rescue. All in all, we love Rocky unconditionally and would never return him... but I feel there are better rescues out there
Bad experience here for me avoid at all costs, you should be able to tell as soon as you enter the place, it smells of urine
We got our dog "Gypsy" in January,. We couldn't be happier with Wright-Way Rescue service. I'm glad they are selective because they just want to make sure the pet goes to a good home.
I adopted my dog from here and still get the dogs food from wright-way. My family has been extremely satisfied with the service and care.
They are fair. Their concern is that your truly equipped to have a pet.
I disagree with Mr. F. The people we worked with were very nice and the questions they had were basic (can someone care for the puppy during the day if you both work 9-5, kids in the home, etc.). We adopted our pup about two weeks ago and we couldnt be happier. You get medical records, follow ups that are needed, and resources for training and such if needed. I highly recommend this location and my cousin in law recently adopted a kitty from here last week and was really happy with the experience as well. If you think this is selective you obviously havent been to locations that require in home visits from a representative.
Everyone is selective on who they allow to adopt. I would look on website to see if any animals interest you. I had no problems with their polices and paperwork.
We had a good experience with our adoption there
You'd be better off going somewhere else. They are very selective with who they adopt to.
Yes I don't think they are that picky. They don't do home checks or anything like that.
Absolutely!
We love our 6 year old Plott Hound! She was classified as something else, but then we found pictures of Plott hounds online that matched her more exactly. It didn't matter. We love her looks and character. She was clean and happy. The caregiver, Katie, walked her and our older dog together with us to introduce them and all was well. Highly recommend Katie and WWR.
