I wouldn't try any home remedies for risk of making things worse. The animal hospital will absolutely be able to help you. You can always call and do a consult quickly over the phone.

You could use hydrogen peroxide. Pour it down your dogs throat and it will begin to vomit. We had to do this a few times with our dogs, last time was for a bag of pizza dough
