Are feline distemper vaccines recommended? Previous vet of 25 years stopped giving them, saying they were harmful. New vet asked why my cat hasn't had any, and highly recommended he receive one. What say you?

If you let your cat outdoors I say vaccinate for everything. But ask your vet if there's a danger factor and why it's highly recommended.
